IF YOU BECOME ILL WITH CORONAVIRUS

IF YOU BECOME ILL

If you are infected, or suspect that you are, based on the symptoms you are experiencing, immediately self-quarantine per the CDC guidelines and contact your health provider.  Consistent with those guidelines, do not leave your unit for any reason other than medical necessity, and then using every precaution.  Suspend all visits by vendors, housekeepers or contractors to your unit.

Those guidelines advise that If two or more people live in the same unit, the sick person should quarantine away from others living in the unit.  The sick person should have their own bedroom and bathroom, if possible.  Co-occupants of that unit should monitor their own health carefully, and follow all recommended precautions, proceeding as if they are likely to be infected and  likely to spread the disease, so should leave the unit only when necessary and take every precaution when doing so.

Given the common space we share and our concern for one another, it is critically important that each of us, if we should develop any symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, take extraordinary care to take the steps advised by the CDC and make strenuous efforts to prevent its spread to our neighbors.

Note:  Understanding and dealing with Covid 19 is a fluid situation and CDC guidelines and the policies that follow may change at any time.
