Mid-winter news and Updates

February 1, 2021

As the months go by without our quarterly Residents Meetings, we wanted to let you know of upcoming events and plans for the weeks and months ahead.

The new entry awning will be installed in the next few weeks.  It will no doubt cause some additional inconvenience in front of the building, but that will be short lived and we anticipate a “walkway canopy” that will not only be more attractive, but also will provide more protection from the wind and weather.

You will notice a significant upgrade in the appearance of the rear exit areas thanks to the Manager’s efforts to paint the walls and refinish the floors using a method that will maintain, as well as improve their appearance.

The windows in the Community Room and along the Reading Rd side of the building will be replaced in the weeks ahead.  Those replacement windows will provide far more protection from the weather and from the constant noise from the street.

Due to the continuing Covid situation, the Annual Meeting always scheduled in March will once again be in the form of a written Report that covers all the topics usually covered at the meeting.  That Report will be mailed to all owners in March. Voting for three members of the Board of Directors will once again this year be done by mail-in Ballots, which you also will receive by mail.

Finally, the criteria for the safe restoration of valet service have been determined:  when the number of daily new cases reported in Hamilton County go below 40 (they are currently at 56) and the positivity rate is at 5% or below (it is currently at 13%) for fourteen days, the service will be restored.  That day cannot come soon enough!
