Coronavirus – Change in Deliveries to the Belvedere

TO ALL RESIDENTS AND STAFF

To protect the health of all residents and limit the spread of the Coronavirus at the Belvedere, deliveries will no longer be made to residential units.

The new procedures will be as follows:

  • Deliveries of non-perishable items, including medications, will be kept behind the front desk. Door staff will call the resident to request that they come down to pick up their package.
  • Residents must come down to the lobby to receive and in some cases pay for all restaurant deliveries and groceries and must return carts immediately.
  • The door staff will deliver packages only to those residents who are unable to leave their unit due to illness or disability.
  • Dry cleaning, both incoming and outgoing, is to be hung on the rack behind the front desk.
  • Newspapers will be delivered to the outer lobby and can be picked up by subscribers there.

Note:  Regular Amazon/UPS deliveries will be handled as usual and kept in the package room.

These procedures have been adopted by other hi rise condominiums, but problems may arise in implementing them that will need to be addressed.  In the meantime we count on everyone’s patience and cooperation as we do our best to protect ourselves and one another in these challenging times.

Thank you.
