CRITICAL COVID 19 NOTICE UPDATE JUNE 2, 2020

As the Ohio Department of Health and the State of Ohio have initiated some changes in the guidelines for Ohioans, the Board with the agreement of Management has made some changes to the policies that were initially enacted on April 7th and modified on May 4th. Please see highlighted changes below.

      1. No social gatherings of more than 10 persons are permitted in the Community Room or the Roof Garden.
      2. Social distancing of 6’ must be maintained in all common areas. Do not linger in the outer lobby as it makes maintaining that distance difficult for those coming in or out.
      3. Residents who wish to schedule contractors may do so for dates after June 1st, but must contact James as to the type of work and the proposed dates so that we can limit the number of projects to no more than 4 at any given time. It is the responsibility of the resident to tell their contractor to wear face mask and gloves when outside the resident’s unit.
      4. Everyone must disinfect all commonly used items and surfaces. Carts and luggage racks must be sanitized by the user and returned personally to the cart room. No item may be left on the elevator for any reason.
      5. Use of plumbing facilities including toilets and garbage disposals must be used carefully and sparingly. Paper towels, cleansing wipes and dental floss should never be flushed into our plumbing lines.
      6. Newspapers and dry cleaning will be delivered to residents’ units. All other deliveries must be left or picked up at the front desk or in the outer lobby. Amazon and FedEx deliveries can be picked up in the package room as usual, but maintaining a social distance from door staff.
      7. The exercise room will be open for use by one person at a time with an exception for couples who exercise together. A schedule will be posted each week for those who wish to reserve a time for no longer than an hour. Everyone using the equipment must bring disinfecting wipes with them to sanitize all equipment used.
      8. The mail room is to be used by one person at a time.
      9. The elevators are to be used by one person at a time with exceptions for occupants of the same unit, a passenger’s children and the disabled who require assistance. Residents should stand 6’ away from elevator door while waiting
      10. The laundry room is to be used by no more than two persons at a time maintaining 6’ social distance. All appliances and surfaces must be sanitized after each use.
      11. Use of the grill in the Roof Garden is limited to one person at a time. Residents using the grill must bring their own utensils and sterilize non heated surfaces when finished. Use of the kitchen in the Roof Garden is limited to one person who is responsible for sanitizing all surfaces before and after use.
      12. Valet service will continue to be suspended until further notice. The 7 spaces currently reserved for those residents who are unable to retrieve their cars from the street or the remote lot will continue to be reserved for them until valet service is restored. Those spaces are the 5 valet spaces in front of the building and the 2 spaces on either side of the Triangle Park walkway.
      13. The outdoor patios may be used by no more than two persons at a time.
      14. Social distancing of 6’ should be maintained between pets and other people and animals pursuant to the CDC guidelines.

______________________________________________________________________________

Two Important Reminders:

Out of consideration for the health of one another, especially residents over 65 and those with underlying medical conditions who are at the highest risk of severe illness, please wear face masks when in the common areas.

If a resident should become ill they are urged to follow strictly the CDC guidelines that were summarized on the sheet that was attached to the original Notice and available on the Belvedere Website.

These policies will be reviewed once again at the end of June for potential reconsideration based on the Covid 19 situation in Ohio at that time.

Thank you for your continued compliance and cooperation with the policies put in place in an effort to keep us all safe.
