Winter Newsletter 2022

Many of us are staying close to home these days thanks to the conditions outside our doors that combine frigid temperatures with the continuing threat of the Omicron variant. We hope this Newsletter informs you of several good things going on outside your door that should make life better for all of us.

  1. The Construction Agreement for the Development of the Parking Lot with Jostin Construction was signed in early January.  The project will get underway on March 1st and be completed by June 30th.  It will provide 17 additional parking spaces and enhanced visual appeal.  Details will be available at the Annual Meeting in March.
  2. The fabrication and installation of steel window frames with tempered glass for the seven historic windows along Reading Road is being done by Zimmerer & Sons and should be completed in the next several weeks.
  3. In order to improve security in the parking area in front of the building, some motion activated lights have been installed between that area and the park. Additional lights are planned.
  4. In the next two weeks, Mary Littig and the Nominating Committee will be inviting Association Members to run for the Board of Directors.  Please consider the possibility.  It is a great way to contribute your time and talent to the welfare of your neighbors while working together on the projects and issues that are so important to life at the Belvedere.
  5. All residents are encouraged to register on the Secure/Residents Only section of our website: belvederecincinnati.com. The Board and Management are moving toward this being the primary means of communicating information to residents. Follow the prompts  on the website or, if you need assistance, call Jean Silverstein at 937 901 8612.

Save the Date:  Annual Meeting will be Wednesday evening, March 23rd.   Hoping it can be in-person for the first time since 2019!
